We specialise in concrete construction across all types of infrastructure work, with precast components manufactured in our own Kaiapoi yard, and in-situ concrete works on site to tie it all together.

We employ qualified tradespeople with high personal standards, and we take on precast manufacture for outside customers as well as our own contracts. Full engineering design is available for every project.

We also install the HDPE Studliner system for protective encapsulation of concrete in aggressive environments, sewage treatment plants, pump stations and the like.

We run a Manitowoc M12000 — rigged with up to 61 metres of main boom and 9 metres of fly. Available for hire on contract, and proven on complex lifts across Canterbury including multi-year work at Kate Valley landfill. If your job needs serious lifting capacity, we've got the crane and the operator to do it safely.

We own a full range of dewatering equipment — vacuum dewatering gear and large submersible pumps. We've completed many contracts where extensive dewatering was the difference between a job running on time or grinding to a halt. From small trench works to large-scale infrastructure, we'll keep your excavation dry and your project moving.

We've invested in a serious fleet for shifting plant and equipment across Canterbury — and it's available for hire by the hour or on contract. We're NZTA certified for Bridge Engineering Self Supervision on overweight loads, with in-house pilots for oversize and overweight escort. Fleet includes a Kenworth 600hp and Kenworth 550hp tractor unit, 3-row 8-transporter trailer to 65 tonne, 4-axle trailer to 50 tonne, 40ft flat deck semi, and two tipping semis.

We've installed concrete pipe from 225 to 1800mm diameter for both pressure and gravity applications, plus uPVC, HDPE, ductile iron and steel from 25 to 750mm. We operate our own welding equipment for HDPE joins — done on site, by us, to spec. Water, wastewater and stormwater across Canterbury councils and private contracts. We know the requirements, and we meet them.

We manufacture prestressed concrete components in our Kaiapoi yard — pre-tensioned to spec, built to last. Used across drainage structures, retaining elements, bridge components and large-diameter pressure applications. Full engineering design is available, and we take on work for outside customers as well as our own contracts. Everything manufactured in-house, to the standard the job requires.

We've completed many contracts involving extensive sheet piling and dewatering systems. We own a large stock of FSP111A and SP3W sheet piling and a range of machine-mounted and crane-suspended vibro-hammers. Whether it's temporary excavation support, permanent retaining or riverbank protection, we can offer the full package — sheet piling and dewatering together, any ground conditions.

Our engineering staff have completed numerous steelwork and mechanical fit-out jobs — portal building fabrication and erection, pipework and mechanical equipment for pumping stations and sewage treatment plants, through to full installation, testing and commissioning. We offer a full design/build service for buildings and plant installations. One crew, start to finish.
