Concrete Construction

G & T Construction specialises in concrete construction including precast concrete components manufactured in our own yard and the on site in-situ concrete works required to tie it all together.

We undertake precast manufacture for our own contract work and for outside customers. Our services include full engineering design tailored to each individual project undertaken.

We can also offer the HDPE protective liner system for protective encapsulation of concrete surfaces in aggressive atmospheres such as those encountered in sewage treatment plants and pumping stations.

Pipe Laying

G & T Construction have installed many different pipe materials as part of the various contracts completed in recent times. We have experience with concrete pipe installation, ranging in size from 225 to 1800mm diameter, for both pressure and gravity.

We have also installed uPVC, HDPE, ductile iron and steel pipe sizes from 25 to 750mm diameter. We own electro-fusion and butt fusion welding equipment for the joining of HDPE pipe.

Steel Fabrication

Our engineering staff have completed numerous steelwork jobs and mechanical fit outs.

This includes fabrication and erection of steel portal buildings and the manufacture, installation, testing and commissioning of pipework and mechanical equipment associated with pumping stations and sewage treatment plants.

We can offer a full design/build service for any buildings or plant installations.

Heavy Haulage

G & T Construction has invested in a range of trucks and trailers for shifting our plant and equipment.
These trucks and trailers are also available for hire by hourly or contract rates.

We have NZTA certification for Bridge Engineering Self Supervision for over weight loads as well as pilots available in house, for escorting of overweight and over dimension loads.

Sheet Piling

We have completed many contracts involving extensive sheet piling and dewatering systems.

We own a large stock of FSP111A Sheet Piling and a variety of machine mounted and crane suspended vibro hammers.

G & T Construction can offer the full package of Sheet Piling and dewatering for excavations in any ground conditions.

De-Watering

G & T Construction have completed many contracts involving the need for extensive dewatering systems. We own a range of pumps including vacuum dewatering equipment and large submersible pumps.

We also offer a full package of dewatering for excavations in any ground conditions.
