Gas Flare & Gas Engine Installation

The scope of work included the installation of new process pipework and valving to allow the installation of a new gas flare (Flare 3). A new condensate sump & pump were installed along with underground ducts for electrical & control connection for the new flare. Also included were modifications to the inlet & outlet pipework in the LP Gas Tank. The installation of the gas flare including civil, mechanical and electrical & controls works were added to the contract at a later date as a variation.

Following the gas flare upgrade, G&T were engaged as the civil contractor for the installation of the new gas engine. This was installed within the current powerhouse and included foundation works, ventilation upgrade and process piping.
